Vacancy: Northern European Manager for a global manufacturer of products for agri cultural

The Northern European Manager is responsible for the business in the following countries: Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland and Poland. He/she will be a part of the European team and will report to the EMEA Business Manager.
The Manager will take full market responsibility for the company within their Northern European market, developing their market throughout Northern Europe, managing European dealers and distribution channels, increasing market share, monitoring the market and any potential changes going forward, full account management and business development as well as managing, creating and implementing a yearly business plan for designated areas.
The European main office is in the U.K. but you will be working independently out of the country- town you live (home office) in and you will be travelling to maintain contacts in your responsible countries approx. 70% of your time. Meetings on a regular base will take place with the EMEA Business Manager.
• In depth understanding of rodent control products & market/competitive intelligence.
• Good sound knowledge of dealer networks and large co-ops in the designated territory.
• Biologist/Agronomist background/education is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience in other AgChem companies or International industrial business.
• Proven track record in achieving international sales targets in B2B sales.
• Experienced in successfully managing a multi cultural network of distributors, identifying strategic sales and product opportunities and experienced in successfully launching new products to the market.
• Fluent in English/ German and another language would be beneficial but not essential
• Being able to conduct business in German will be considered a significant advantage
• Able and willing to travel 70% of the time.
• Is able to manage his/her time and work independent, can deal with the freedom, is disciplined, efficient, reliable.
• You have a “can do” mentality, you feel responsible and you are a self starter.
• Tenacious, but has well developed social and communication skills and likes to maintain and build relationships.
• Has a well developed financial and analytical skills and is excellent in building reports, there fore has well developed IT knowledge skills.
