Hallo .....
In the articel "Why Should I Use ‘Low Smoke Zero Halogen’ Cables? " is is written that materials like PE or PP do not produce any toxic products in the case of a fire. This is not correct. Also in these cases the release of the toxic gas CO (carbon monoxide) is well known. CO is responsible of more than 80 % of people killed by fires !!
The advantage of ‘Low Smoke Zero Halogen’ cables is the very low release of smoke enabling people to escape in the case of the fire before inhalation of the extrem toxic gas CO starts and people die.
