The Program

What to expect

In this event we will explore and experience what it means to create enabling conditions in our work environments and within ourselves to be at our best – as individuals, teams and collective systems.

G.R.A.C.E. is a practice utilizing a compassion-based approach. The 5 steps of G.R.A.C.E. help to tap into a source of stability, orientation and energy needed to navigate unknown and challenging territories.  It cultivates the ability to perceive context, think and act from a unifying perspective, and experience a connectedness that brings out what serves best in any given situation. It is a problem solving and innovation approach.

We need to learn how to overcome our tendency to filter everything through our past experience, only then, we can make the best use of our accumulated wisdom and “lean into the future” with a fresh and informed eye. Since compassion is an innate human quality, it does not need to be learned. You will get a sense of what it takes to tap into the power of this resource.

G.R.A.C.E. is a practice to generate mental focus, connect to purpose and expand and cultivate our contextual sensing abilities. These abilities are essential as we try to find our way through the often dense fog that is today’s Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity. G.R.A.C.E. will inform our response to the VUCA environment when:

o  We know that we don’t know.

o  We don’t know what we don’t know.

o  We need to solve complex problems with insufficient data.

o  We need to be present and alert in challenging situations.

o  We need to tackle issues outside our comfort zone with confidence.

o  We want to create and collaborate at the edges of our imagination.
