Job description
We offer exciting projects at our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space and we are looking for a motivated employee for the position as "Modelling & Simulation - Systems Engineer" (m/f/d).
Your tasks:
- Contribute to work package definitions, planning activities, progress monitoring, documentation and reporting
- Review and improve schedules by identifying technical dependencies, deviations as well as planning weaknesses, and ensure their adherence
- Support work package leaders within all phases of subsystem development life cycle Organize and monitor the provision of subsystems according to the development goals and system functionality
- Conduct content-based root cause analysis of concept or design issues, define mitigation strategies and corrective measures including the impact analysis on project planning
- Collaborate with senior team members to gain insights into complex system architectures and project management strategies
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to understand broader project contexts and stakeholder needs
Requirements
- Completed studies in the field of Computer Science, Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Very good proficiency in using MS Office
- At least basic experience in SW development (Scripting, VBA, Python, C/C++,) is required
- Fluent in English
- Know-how of V-model based SW development process and systems engineering (incl. tools such as DOORS) is required
- Practical knowledge regarding technical planning, in particular the creation and analysis of schedules is needed
- Experience in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies is mandatory
- Experience in the design and development of complex distributed systems is a must have
