The Enterprise Architect will be part of the Hartmann Architecture Advisory Board responsible for providing architectural advice globally and taking decisions on key Technology/Architecture strategies. As an Entreprise Architect you are typically a Technology Evangelist who plays a key role in our Digital Transformation program, including advising on Technology Changement Management strategies.
As architect you will lead the identification and analysis of enterprise business drivers to derive enterprise business, information, technical and solution architecture requirements; analyzing industry, technology and market trends to determine their potential impacts on the enterprise.
Presentation of architectural roadmaps and tactical and strategic benefits of architecture or technology to senior IT and business stakeholders to secure necessary investments is another focus of your role.
You will serve as a subject matter expert for architectural frameworks, methods and tools including application and data architecture – with specific contributing to digital transformation, preferably in the healthcare industry.
You will lead the development of architecture blueprints for business systems. You will participate in solution Proof of Concept projects to thoroughly investigate architectural possibilities and strengthen arguments for their adoption.
You will promote Enterprise Architecture processes and outcomes (KPIs) to IT and Business leaders.
You will participate in and lead the Architecture Board if needed to drive consensus on key technology decisions.
What we look for:
A thought leader responsible for end-to-end architecture strategy at Paul Hartmann.
Around 10 years of experience in IT of which more than 3 years should be working as an Enterprise Architect in an international environment.
Substantial experience as an Enterprise Architect contributing to digital transformation in the healthcare.
Full life cycle experience, having been responsible for the development of a complete set of architectural views for an enterprise in accordance with common architecture frameworks (e.g. Zachman, TOGAF).
Deep mastery of SOA and Microservices based design and architectural patterns.
Insight into one or more business systems architecture: SAP/Oracle ERP, Salesforce CRM/Cloud for Customer CRM etc. and at least one of the commonly‐used methods, notations and tools (e.g. Rational Suite, UML, RUP etc.).
Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of German preferred) with the ability to present messages to technical team, business users and management with equal clarity.
