A new development team is currently being set up at the Heilbronn site with the aim of realising intelligent components for next-generation humanoid robots.

A new team is being set up for this purpose and you can strengthen it as Development engineer (gn) sensor technology for robotics

What you will do:

• Selection and integration of tactile and other sensors of a complex mechatronic component for humanoid robotics
• Development and implementation of algorithms for analysing and evaluating sensor data
• Carrying out tests and validation to ensure the performance of the sensor system
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams from mechanics, electronics and software for system integration
• Participation in the development of sensor-based applications to expand the range of functions

What you bring with you:

• Successfully completed suitable studies (robotics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automation technology)
• Several years of experience in the development of sensor-based systems, ideally in humanoid robotics
• Sound knowledge of signal processing and algorithm development - preferably also using AI methods
• Experience in prototyping, test setup and sensory system integration
• Very good written and spoken English; expandable knowledge of German
