A new development team is currently being set up at the Heilbronn site with the aim of realising intelligent components for next-generation humanoid robots.

A new team is being set up for this purpose and you can strengthen it as Development Engineer Mechanics (gn) for robotics

What you will do:

• Design and mechanical layout of a complex component in the field of humanoid robotics - including with PTC Creo
• Creating technical drawings, parts lists and documentation for development and production processes
• Setting up, carrying out and analysing mechanical tests on components and subsystems
• Deriving optimisation potential from test results and test reports
• Close cooperation with the electronics, software and sensor technology departments for integration into an overall mechatronic system

What you have to offer:

• Successfully completed suitable studies (robotics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automation technology)
• Several years of experience in the development of mechatronic systems, ideally in the field of humanoid robotics
• Sound CAD skills with PTC Creo (or a similar system) and experience in carrying out mechanical tests
• Knowledge of tolerance management, material selection and component design for dynamic applications
• Very good written and spoken English; expandable knowledge of German
