Description Accounting •Entries of invoices and matching to appropriate authorized documents •Process simple and complex invoices with multiple cost center allocation •Timely review & data entry of accounts payable invoices into SAP system; verify invoices &requisitions for goods and services •Prepare wire transfers payment to vendors for Manager’s approval •Monthly Depreciation Posting •Preparation of bank accounts reconciliation & general accounting, including inputting and extracting info from SAP •Document preparation and maintenance of Credit Management and Credit Limit Request
QHSE •Maintain QHSE Files (Quality Server) -Rename and Save Delivery note with Product Cert to Electronic Folder -Rename and File CRI certs to respective cert folder -Rename and File Supplier material cert -File Completed Order Folder -File Third party certificates -File and Archive completed Production orders •Duty (When QM is absence): -Review for approval of production orders -Create Quality Certs for shop orders Qualifications This is a PAID INTERNSHIP for a semester that's open ONLY to local students looking for entry-level preprofessional experience. Students MUST be enrolled in an U.S. accredited university with minimum sophomore standing, a minimum GPA of 2.8, majoring in accounting / business management. In order to be employed as an intern, the student must be actively enrolled in an accredited university degree program.
Personal requirements to be fulfilled by job holder: Strong attention to details, ability to multitask, good numeracy and analytical skills, organized, team player but able to work on own initiative, ability to meet deadlines even under pressure, reliability, good communicator, ability to adjust priorities to meet multiple and conflicting demands on time and effort, take responsibility for the outcome of assigned duties and actions.
Knowledge: • Basic knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP) • Good financial awareness • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications
Interns lasting three months or less will receive an end of term evaluation conducted by his/her supervisor as dictated by the internship start date. Interns lasting more than three months will have a mid-term and end of term performance evaluation conducted by his or her supervisor dictated by the internship start date.
Interns are not eligible for Holiday Pay, Paid Time Off (PTO), or any other benefit.
