The global Technical Services Center of Excellence (TSCoE) is part of VMware’s WW Readiness Accreditation Certification & Enablement (WW RACE) organization. The TS CoE team is trusted with producing enablement strategy for our global customer facing technical services teams as well as partnering with our Education Services to define, source and curate content that our customers need in order to achieve business outcomes by utilizing VMware solutions. The goal of the TS CoE team is to simplify learning, making it easy for technical teams at VMware and beyond, to obtain the knowledge and skills they need to be more successful with VMware solutions. In this role you will liaise with WW Customer Education Services to ensure the content requirements they need are fulfilled for them to achieve their bookings, revenue, and margin targets.
Job Role and Responsibilities:
We are seeking an innovative and strategic leader to join our team as the Senior Manager for Education Services Content Strategy. In this role, you will work with Education Services Leaders to understand their strategic priorities and identify required content assets needed to execute on said strategy. The successful candidate will optimize available offerings, collaborate with our Enablement Business Partners and our Curriculum Development organization to evaluate, prioritize and make available Education content that is to be delivered to our customers.
The ideal candidate is a proven leader that demonstrates high technical aptitude paired with a collaborative spirit. The successful candidate will have strong experience creating prioritized course development plans, managing senior relationships, with an ability to lead solution execution efforts by working across the WWRACE and WW Education Services organization to identify needs, develop effective solutions, and manage content availability. Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with multiple internal key stakeholders and peers is mandatory. The ideal candidate will have a familiarity with the inner workings of our WW Education Services organization.
- Gather business requirements from stakeholders
- Instructional Analysis and Design techniques in order to develop course requirements
- Rationalize course development priorities based on business outcomes
- Achieve an interlock between all stakeholders to drive education services revenue
- Report expected revenue against actuals to adjust priorities in the future
- This role could also support GTM strategies such as subscription modeling, course retirement, alternative revenue sources like education consulting services, readiness skill assessment services, etc.
- Knowledge of the VMW product suite and product positioning
- Significant experience in Software Customer Education Services P&Ls
- Strong collaboration and Interpersonal Skills Strong business acumen (business modeling, business cases, etc.) Balancing multiple customer requirements
- Experience working in a multinational, global company with diverse geographic requirements Self-directed, self-starter
Eagerness to translate high-level business objectives into actions
E xcellent communications skills, with the ability to synthesize, simplify and explain complex problems to different types of audience, including executives
Experience in Software, Cloud, or Infrastructure such as Compute, Network, Storage
Home Office - Anywhere in the United States.
