We are looking for a Senior Manager – NSX Deployment Global Lead who will focus on strategy and execution of NSX deployments with Partners. This is a highly strategic position and the ideal candidate will have experience building, socializing, and executing against our business needs to exceed our NSX deployment goals.
This role requires a balance between strategy, analysis, and rigorous execution against our partner NSX deployment metrics worldwide. Experience with deployment modeling, strategic partnerships, partner services, product business units, and the ability to simplify complex problems are required. This person would be responsible for driving a consolidated partner NSX deployment goal across our GEOs. You’ll be working with our partners, business units, customer success, and our field teams to exceed our NSX adoption goals.
Job Role and Responsibility:
In this role - you will be building the execution plan to exceed our customer deployment goals through partners. In addition – you will collaborate hand in hand with our GEO teams to execute key initiatives to exceed our partner objectives around customer deployments. Your goal will be to drive customer usage through the deployment of NSX leveraging partners to accelerate near and long-term value.
Build and manage the partner NSX partner deployment strategy and execution plan
Achieve NSX deployment goals
Build partner capability and capacity for NSX-T deployments
Collaborate with Professional Services, Operations, and Programs to build the partner services ecosystem to exceed scorecard goals
Drive targeted recruit, training, and activation to support partner capacity requirements
Build and orchestrate the ROB and communication plan across key stakeholders
Partner with teams to build dashboards and reporting to ensure success
Drive Master Services Competency program to increase profitability for partners
Remote employee near international airport or work in your local VMware office
Required skills and confirmed experience:
8+ Years of work experience in the IT industry, with a minimum of 4 years in Cloud or SI partner or other software related customer and/or partner facing role
Ability to translate strategic objectives into a clearly defined, executable business plan
Conduct deep business analytics and forecasting for partner deployments
Demonstrate deep knowledge and experience in building a partner services deployment and consumption strategy
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to provide creative solutions for partner issues and to drive joint VMware and partner business opportunities
Ability to collaborate across groups for successful and shared outcomes
High level of interpersonal awareness, communication, and presentation skills
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned goals and targets
