Tipico is looking for a Data Scientist to join our team. Grow with us, introduce us to new ideas and develop products that maximise the thrill of sports for our customers. Every day, you’ll work in a highly collaborative and agile environment with cross-functional team members to develop products and create technical solutions that push us forward.

Your playing field:

• Demonstrate proficiency in one or more areas of statistics, machine learning, deep learning, decision trees, clustering, network analysis, graph theory, regression analysis, and topological data analysis
• Model and enhance algorithms based on specific business cases and support their implementation in production environments
• Evaluate model outputs, formulate and test hypotheses, weigh alternatives, and determine appropriate responses
• Perform complex ad-hoc data analyses and effectively communicate data-driven stories to diverse audiences
• Build and interpret probabilistic models of complex, high-dimensional systems
• Innovate, research, and develop new technologies and techniques to enhance data analysis platforms
• Own data science projects from conception to testing, delivery, and optimization, while collaborating closely with stakeholders to deliver actionable models and insights
• Promote an analytics-driven mindset across the organization and demonstrate measurable impact on key business initiatives
• Identify emerging trends and opportunities for future growth and development
• Gather requirements, assess business problems, and translate them into analytical solutions

Which skills should you bring to the pitch:

• Education. University Degree (Bachelor's or Master's)
• Experience. 0+ years’ experience in Data Science or Artificial Intelligence
• Analytical Skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, balanced with creative and innovative approaches
• Attention to Detail. High level of accuracy, data quality awareness, and focus on reliable output
• Innovation. Proven hands-on experience solving analytical problems using quantitative and scientific methods
• Communication. Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely explain problem statements and insights
• Ownership. Demonstrated ability to take responsibility for projects, showing diligence, consistency, and strong prioritization skills
• Languages. Fluent in English, both verbal and written
