YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planning and managing software development projects
- Taking responsibility for projects from conception to series release
- Resource management for software projects, including coordination and monitoring of external software service providers
- Organizing, moderating, and participating in project meetings
- Technical coordination with customers, internal departments, and line management
- Continuous development of the project team in terms of methods and processes
- Application of modern development processes to ensure quality objectives
- Introduction and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to manage project and quality objectives
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Several years of practical experience in project management
- Ideally, experience in software development projects or technical product development
- Possession of an internationally recognized project management certificate (e.g., PMI, IPMA, PRINCE2)
- Additional qualifications in agile project management (e.g., SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe) are an advantage
- Technical background with a degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, automotive engineering, or a comparable degree related to software development
- Strong affinity for structured workflows, processes, and quality
- High degree of initiative and the ability to lead by example and with innovative ideas
- Openness to change and enjoyment of active participation
- Team spirit, strong social skills, empathy, and good judgment
- Ability to work motivatingly and constructively with interdisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of functional safety in accordance with ISO 26262 is an advantage
- Familiarity with quality standards and process models in the automotive environment (e.g., IATF, VDA, Automotive SPICE®, V-Model, Scrum, Continuous Integration/Delivery)
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
