In this role, you will have strategic and deal level sales & business development responsibility for VMware's Horizon Cloud on Azure solution across Microsoft Azure & VMware sales organizations. We need your expertise to drive Go-to-Market and Routes-to-Market for Microsoft Azure sales & VMware sales organization for the Horizon Cloud on Azure solutions including but not limited to field engagement and sales processes of the respective companies.
Job Role and Responsibilities
In this role you will use your Horizon Cloud on Azure experience to:
Create joint business plan for driving sales & growth
Create sales Rules-of-engagement between Microsoft Azure & VMware sales organizations
Develop & launch field engagement and sales processes for Microsoft Azure & VMware EUC sales organization across all verticals and segments
"Run the business” approach to meet the rapid scaling quarter over quarter growth projections
Provide deal level sales/business development responsibility
Determine optimal Routes-to-market and Go-to-Market strategies
We will depend on you to provide feedback and solution enhancements to VMware and Microsoft Azure, Remote Desktop, and Windows Client product management teams
You will work with VMware & Microsoft Azure, Remote Desktop, and Windows Client product marketing teams to drive pipeline and awareness
Your role will include establishing and delivering to quarter, half and annual financials as defined in the initial and evolving business case.
You will spend some time creating deployment, support & operations roles and responsibilities (RACI) between Microsoft Azure and VMware
You will engage in beta programs and initial sales opportunities to understand customer feedback and refine the solution requirements definition and deliverables
Experience working with Microsoft Worldwide and Americas Sales organizations
Understanding of Microsoft and VMware Partners and Microsoft Alliance
Knowledge of the following:
Microsoft Azure Go-to-Market, Routes-to-Market & Sales organizational structure
VMware Horizon Cloud and Microsoft Azure solutions
Microsoft Windows licensing rules for virtual environments.
Competitive landscape: Citrix on Azure, AWS, etc.
Software subscription cloud sales
