Biopharma Cell Therapy Associate – Direct Hire in Houston, TX
Kelly Science is currently recruiting candidates with cGMP manufacturing experience for Cell Therapy Associate positions at a biopharma company in Houston, TX. The Cell Therapy Associate is responsible for the manufacturing of cellular therapeutics for clinical applications within a cGMP environment and reporting manufacturing data. This role requires skills to perform manufacturing operations with direct interaction with cellular products under minimal supervision.
Additional Job Responsibilities:
Manufacture cell therapy products per manufacturing batch records in compliance with current regulations and quality standards
Perform various duties including aseptic techniques for cell culture seeding, feeding and expansion, counting, harvesting, cryopreservation, cell selection, transduction, and purification
Perform operations in a cleanroom environment following protocols to assure aseptic processing including gowning, cleaning, and isolation procedures
Document each task involving manufacturing, maintenance, and cleaning procedures per Good Documentation Practices
Perform maintenance on equipment per standard operating procedures
Contribute to documentation of non-conformance, deviations, and CAPAs
Collaborate with R&D to transfer new procedures into Manufacturing
Train junior associates on technical and facility cleaning procedures
There are multiple levels of positions that require either an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a Life Science with 2-6 years’ GMP experience, preferably in cell therapy manufacturing. These are direct hire positions with compensation commensurate upon level of education and applicable experience.
