Service Manager (m/f/d) Restaurants – Banquet & Events – Bar

Your tasks:

• Operational management of the service area (restaurant, bar, banquet), leading our service team
• Implementation of service events in the conference and banquet area
• Friendly and professional interaction with guests and colleagues
• Induction of new employees and trainees
• Ensuring smooth operations including active presence with guests ("hands-on")
• Management, operational planning and professional development of the team including trainees, preparation of the duty roster
• Complaints and complaints management, escalation point for guest issues
• Goods and inventory checks in coordination with kitchen & purchasing
• Turnover management through active additional sales, promotions and implementation of sales-promoting measures
• Interface to kitchen, event coordination, front office and other departments
• Collaboration on budget/key figure targets (turnover per guest, cost of goods, staff deployment)

Your profile:

• Completed training in the hotel and catering industry
• Several years of service experience; initial management experience in day-to-day operations desirable
• Distinct host mentality, professional and confident appearance
• Strong organizational skills, team-oriented, resilient and flexible
• Very good German and good English skills; other languages an advantage
• Routine in cash register/POS systems and basic understanding of key figures
