Job description
- New design, adaptation, and further development of reactors (RWGS and Fischer-Tropsch reactors), frames, and containers for our PtX and GtX plants.
- Performing static and dynamic strength calculations (FEM, according to AD2000).
- Creating component and assembly drawings suitable for production and testing, as well as assembly and interface drawings, parts lists, and documentation.
- Ensuring structured storage of all CAD data, drawings, and technical documentation in the PDM system.
- Maintaining and further developing product and development life cycles.
- Contributing to the standardization and continuous improvement of our products and development processes.
- Working closely with plant engineering, production, quality, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree in mechanical engineering, design engineering, or comparable technical training/further education.
- At least 7 years of professional experience in design engineering, particularly in the field of mechanically processed components and welded assemblies.
- Confident use of Autodesk Inventor and experience with PDM and ERP systems.
- Experience with CFD simulation (ANSYS) desirable.
- Analytical thinking, strong problem-solving skills, and strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Very good German skills and good English skills.
