• Supervise the execution of the embedded software development, technical activities, plan and allocate resources for projects
• Determine needs for trainings and adding capabilities
• Provide domain know-how and consultancy for product managers and in technical sales activities
• Lead the team to deliver best results (regarding quality, scope, and time) and manage team performance in an inspiring & motivating way
• Create effort estimations and project plans with technical leaders in the team
• Improve and standardize domain-specific processes, procedures, and workflows
• Execute decisions of the management/board and inform superiors about important issues

• University degree in computer science, software engineering or another relevant field
• Several years of professional experience in embedded software development
• Knowledge of development processes for safety in aviation, space or similar (DO-178C, ECSS-E-ST-40)
• Experience in leading a team of software developers and managing suppliers
• Ability to create a good work atmosphere in an inspiring, visionary and motivating way
• Experience with project management and dealing with business processes
• Ability to lead diverse teams and organize work within an international environment
• Excellent communication skills in English

We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade ("Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe") and we offer a minimum salary of EUR 65,000 gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
