    I am sorry for being so late to post what I had to do earlier as I was occupied with three things: sickness, business and surfing the internet for urgent matters. However, please accept my apology and here is what you can ask the HR manager during your interview.

    1. Am I going to get an orientation program upon selecting me? For how long?
    2. Is orientation program is a must for every one or is it job dependant?
    3. Is their any orientation guideline book, procedure and policy manual to use while on job?
    4. Do we get internet connections? If yes, how many minutes or ours I am allowed to use it per day?
    5. What is my job description and responsibilities?
    6. Why you think that the post you are offering me is important for your company?
    7. What is the HR plan for development of staff in the coming year?
    8. Do you have a suggestion system? How you process suggestions?
    9. Who is responsible for the quality of products, services and systems in the company?
    10. How you protect the intellectual property of the organization and the employee?
    11. What is my career ladder?
    12. How can you help me reach to top management level?
    13. Do you have any sort of social activities for employees?
    14. Do you promote healthy life styles? How?
    15. Do you allow transfer from job to another within the organization?
    16. What is the package provided for such job and the job above it?
    17. To whom I will report? What is his responsibility?
    18. Is there a complaint system? How you deal with it?
    19. Can I complain about my boss?
    20. Do you have any financial support plans for employees?
    21. What is the longest period in your records in retention of your staff? How many years you kept them?
    22. What is the shortest period of retention that you ever encountered? When it happened and why?
    23. What is the plan for annual increments?
    24. Do you have policy for promotion? for my category, what are the required criteria to get promoted?
    25. What is the sick leave policy?
    26. What is the extra hour’s policy?
    27. If we have disputes, who should be dealing with our problem, do you have a legal independent advisor, who works for both company and employee?
    28. What are the objectives and out comes results expected from my job?
    29. What is the procedure carried for resigning staff?
    30. How you take disciplinary actions for the staff who fail to meet the requirement or negligent to meet their responsibilities?
    31. What big is HR department and what sub departments it has?
    32. How HR department contribute in the growth and satisfaction of the employee?
    33. Did I forget to ask about something?
    34. What my health insurance will include and what it does not include?
