The meaning of the acronym MoReq was changed to meat the more modular approach. The MoReq2010 specifiacation has 520 pages (and is not shorter than MoReq2 ...). There will be further modules and a training programme available soon. Products and installations can be tested and certified starting later this year.

The DLM Forum launches the MoReq2010 Technical Committee to manage and extend MoReq2010, the new European records management specification, and publishes the first XML Schema that enables interoperability between records systems.
The new Technical Committee which will steer the future direction of the MoReq2010 specification includes representatives of ECM and RIM vendors such as Automated Intelligence, EMC, Fabasoft, Gimmal Group, HP, Open Text, and Oracle.
