As the Head of the Project Cluster for Reproducible Braking Distance (RBD), I oversee a portfolio of braking functions dedicated to increase transport capacity and the resilience of railway operations, striving for more sustainable and efficient mobility. Responsible of successful acquisition, management and completion of OEM metro brake system projects: Customers support for the acquisition of projects and management of complaints. Comment on specifications and contracts. Preparation of commercial and technical offers. Price and condition design in coord. with business managers. Lead in sales talks. Plan, monitor and control OEM projects acc. to project management methods. Elicitation of market requirements relevant for new product developments.

Technical contact person in a sales team, responsible of the customer specific design of brake systems and technical customer support: Customer contact person for technical questions. Design and parametrization of brake systems for metros according to customer’s needs. Review and comment on technical specifications. Coordination of technical activities (internal and external). Creation of customer technical documentation. Collaboration and support during the elaboration of commercial offers.

Technical lead in standardization of syst. functions and dev. of new brake control concepts: Analysis of functions and domains for modular platform, using MBSE methodologies. Model based development and specification of new functions. Systems engineer, subproject lead: design, coordination of prototype testing of innovative functions. Marketing and technical support of products launch. Coordination of collaboration in projects with TU Munich. Professional guidance of students, deputy team lead.
