I work on making Mesosphere DC/OS, the operating systems for data centers, more secure. I designed and shipped the identity and access management interfaces for Apache Mesos and currently focus on the closed source implementation of these interfaces.

During my tenure I built two different video streaming mechanisms for our distributed render engines; the first was build from the ground up while the second used Google's webrtc to stream video to web browsers. I also maintained the legacy distributed rendering engine PowerHouse.

I took care to help technicians to perform the difficult task of testing Power Transformers at Siemens, for this I built software which took measurements from different devices, i.e. oscilloscopes and noise readers, and automatically built reports in MS Office based on those measurements.

I ported the threading and user interface libraries of the in-house programming language PLUK from windows to Linux.

I focus on writing the backend software for diverse web portals using the Symfony PHP framework.

As part of a research project on Knowledge Management, I was on charge of designing and implementing software which would help identify knowledge flow as well as experts within a large telecommunications organisation.

I was on charge of the backend implementation for a web portal used by the ministry of education of Colombia. This web portal allowed citizens to register their children at different public schools across the country.
