Key accomplishments: • Led imaging endeavors and supervised ‘Imaging team’ at Genelux Corp. in San Diego as well as in Germany • Head of animal research committee and responsible for filings of all ACUPs and interactions with several IACUCs • Evaluated oncolytic virus-based combination therapies including other immunotherapies (e.g. checkpoint inhibitors)

Key accomplishments: • Supervised imaging projects • Spearheaded blood-based biomarker analysis for use in virotherapy • Mode of action studies of oncolytic virotherapy and bacterial tumor colonization • Scientific project leader of BMBF (Ministry for Education and Research) funded “MoBiVir” consortium (Government funding: approx. 3.4 M €)

Key accomplishments: • Designed and executed successful research projects with focus on imaging (optical imaging, MRI, PET) based monitoring of cancer therapy • Supervised technician, PhD-student and Post-Doc that participated in those projects
