As a full-stack developer for Internet of Things applications, I created and maintain a highly flexible data acquisition and management software (ETL) to satisfy the individual needs of our customers. It features the transmission of data to the Azure Cloud or existing intranet systems, communication with hardware via multiple standards, and provides a flexible user-friendly interface. As a data analyst, I analyze the sensor data we collect with our products to give valuable insights to our customers.

I designed and developed an Internet of Things software system with multiple fail-safes to ensure reliability under extreme conditions.

I redesigned and developed the new version of the existing real-time sensor-to-cloud software, which featured a multithreaded, multiprocessing system to collect, process, and store sensor data from industrial applications. The new version featured an improved software architecture, more flexible configuration, automatic updates, and a REST API. Unfortunately, the company filed for bankruptcy in July 2018.

I was in charge of the design and development of an automatic update system for the existing software of the company.

I studied the cost-benefit prediction of detector performance using Monte Carlo methods. In addition to my research, I worked as an analysis strategy consultant for junior team members, being fully responsible for one doctoral candidate and partially responsible for two more. Furthermore, I coordinated the development of the research team's common analysis framework.
