I facilitated the conduct of clinical trials in compliance with federal regulations. Duties included: taking part in pharmaceutical investigator meetings, study site initiation visits, as well as work with monitors to ensure a clean and accurate presentation of data, as well as performing venipunctures, electrocardiograms, collecting and processing laboratory specimens, assessing patient vital signs, conducting medical and psychiatric histories, medication accountability, and evaluating adverse events.

My responsibilities included answering crisis calls connected to the Los Angeles Rape and Battering hotline, and to respond to nearby hospitals and police stations in the event of an assault. Our team focused on providing support by educating survivors about filling out restraining orders, creating safety plans, and presenting options to empowered survivors. As a trainer, I taught volunteers to perform crisis intervention counseling, understand the legal process associated with sexual and domestic violence.
