Google Vendor (Consultant) & Head Mentor, Google Launchpad

    Google Inc.

Google Launchpad is today one of the world’s largest and toughest startup programs for early-stage founders. The goal is to achieve extreme progress in very little time (e.g. complete, implemented pivot in five days) through highly focused one-on one mentoring sessions (e.g. Customer Development) and concentrated customer interaction and implementation time. The key to Google Launchpad’s scalability is its community-driven approach.

Transformation work. When I joined, the marketplace‘s tech team consisted 80% of backend, and was performing 80% refactoring. Within just a few months, I was able to help this first external Rocket Internet investment achieve the following things: - Transition of marketplace from Alice & Bob (= 2005 Magento monolith) to microservices architecture - UX redesign (complete overhaul) - Team transition Check https://www.linkedin.com/in/marcclange/edit/position/1475597605/ for the full copy

    Co-Founder/CEO (product)

    Förderhelden

Förderhelden takes the friction out of public funding. Get yourself a free public funding check, no strings attached. Förderhelden is a muse startup (feel free to ask me what that means). I truly believe in public funding as the 'fourth way' of funding your business. The Valley has its VC Billions, we've got public funding Billions (around 500 in the EU, to be exact). We found this company in silence while working on Crowdflow, and managed to move it into its break-even within less than three months.

  • 1 year and 1 month, Jan 2012 - Jan 2013

    Co-Founder (product)

    Project GAIN

Building the next stage in crowd-funded micro-loans bundled with development aid. I like to spend my spare time solving sociological challenges through business model innovation. After years of spare-time sweat, in September 2012, I felt ready to push my social project an important step forward with my co-founder and lots of great supporters. The Goodvestment aspired to offer great NGOs a massive lever, and givers, donators and supporters finally 100% transparency.

    Head of Product Management (Consumer)

    gfnmediber GmbH

After my time with studiVZ, I was recruited by the already mentioned healthcare software startup to become their head of marketing and head of product management (consumer). Tasks include branding and the conception and implementation of consumer products based on B2B high-tech software. In collaboration with Microsoft, SleepWell was designed, a simple and aesthetic digital sleep assistant (inspired by human design), which Microsoft's B2B magazine ELAN covered in their issue 3/2012 together with my work.

  • 2 years and 1 month, Jan 2010 - Jan 2012

    Product Advisor to the Management

    VZ Netzwerke Ltd.

One of my most exciting projects kicked off in 2010: providing studiVZ (then biggest rival to Facebook in DE) with a pivotal strategy, from brand to product detail level. That was only possible by applying systematic design. My projects: market research, rebranding, product conception, implementation, testing and refining (process: SCRUM, collaboration with internal development teams as well as external service providers). The collaboration between large and complex teams was what fascinated me the most.
