Dr. Nikolay Belyakov

Hold responsibility for strategic projects in sales and marketing, with direct accountability for implementation, product ownership, and team management. My key project is aimed at development of company-wide system to collect, deal, and implement change process for Customer’s requests (service, inquiries, questions, documentation). Act as a product owner to organize and manage cross-functional collaboration.

Held responsibility for directing strategic project planning and development, with concurrent accountability for sales targets, solution development and implementation. Principal strategist and visionary for corporate strategy for thermal/renewable power for global implementation, whilst aligning results with long-term business objectives. Shaped positioning strategies and conducted cross-team collaboration to ensure seamless strategy implementation.

I played an integral role in business development, strategic planning, and overall growth of projects, programmes, and initiatives. I led the sales technical aspect of multi-billion deals in Europe and Russia as part of equipment and turnkey projects, and utilised proven sales strategy and market research to significantly increase revenue. In this capacity, I managed and guided an engineering team, analysed tender documents, which served to define overall strategic direction.

I was granted the opportunity to take part in the GE leadership program with four full-time job rotations. Here, I gained significant experience in commercial leadership, whilst functioning as Evaluation, Analysis, Pricing Manager (USA), Proposal Engineer and Commercial Leader (France), and Market Research Analyst (Russia). I attained first-hand experience in deal establishment, project management, sales operations, and market sales strategy.

In this position, I leveraged strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support strategic decisions. Here, I conducted revenue analysis, data analysis, and research studies. I also analysed competition and industrial hotspots of Russia & CIS (mining, energy, and O&G industry). As Market Analyst, I significantly contributed to strategy development, through solid research studies.

I was an integral part of the labs’ administrative operations, whilst training students on research projects. - Documented design requirements for use in laboratory sessions at the university and wrote textbooks on LaTeX computer typesetting system - Trained over 30 students per semester and managed research projects in the areas of mechanics and heat transfer.
