About me

I'm pivoting my career and working my way towards having Frontend Development as my main 'Schwerpunkt', as we say over here. Much of what I have been doing in jobs and for my own entertainment since getting access to the internet in 1999 is related to UX and UI design, but what really gets me going is the coding behind the UI. I feel that UX and UI design principles have even been an undercurrent of my electronic engineering work - it takes a bit of thought about a user's interaction with hardware to decide where the connectors will be placed, for example. I am otherwise a design and engineering 'Senior Generalist': I enjoy putting together websites, hardware and circuits, testing and iterating until they're as perfect as can be. I put things together, take others apart, find out how they work, sniff out bugs and fix it if I can before jumping into the required redesign. https://sarajoy.dev
