Sven Prüfer

I am working at the chair for "Geometry and Analysis" at the Universität Augsburg. My duties include primarily giving exercise classes and tutorials to Bachelor and Master students. Besides that I am also responsible for the Arbeitsseminar Geometrie/Topologie, which is the local PhD student seminar for geometry and topology as well as helping with the organization of various other conferences such as the "Billardseminar" and the" X Workshop on Symplectic Geometry, Contact Geometry, and Interactions".

My task was to give a complete course on Euclidean Geometry for future high school teachers at the Michigan State University.

I was giving a tutorial on Symplectic Geometry for Master students as well as drawing pictures for the book "From Stein to Weinstein and Back" from K. Cieliebak and Y. Eliashberg.

My position mainly included giving tutorials for mathematical preparation courses for new students.

My task was to use a telescope in order to gather data points of a star cluster and afterwards numerically analyse this data to categorize the star cluster.

I was proofreading various physics journals.

My main task was to distribute food among the various student cafeterias in Leipzig. This was my year of mandatory civil service (in German "Zivildienst").
