First FTE of the privacy department reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, Privacy & Compliance

Review & negotiation of IT agreements, such as subscription/license, cloud, reseller, subcontractor and professional services. Other contracts: marketing, rental & NDAs. Regions covered: CEMEA (Germany, Austria & Switzerland) and SEMEA (Spain, Italy and Portugal). Delivery of trainings to sales team. Dealing with tight timelines under a pre-IPO environment.

Review, negotiation and management of IT outsourcing contracts, including statement of works ("Dienstvertrag" and "Werkvertrag"), request for proposals and change requests; adjustments in the agreements in light of the GDPR; interface with the project and finance team; onsite support to the customers; delivery of trainings.

Point of contact for procurement contracts in EMEA; roll-out of playbook with legal terms to the procurement team; managing of corporate matters and external law firms worldwide.

Draft and negotiation of commercial and IP contracts (e.g. software licenses, SaaS, sales agency, distributorship, provision of services, NDAs, patent, IP licenses). Assistance in all procedures for the registration and protection of IPRs; analysis of unfair competition practices and providing advise. Due diligence in the commercial agreements and intellectual property areas. Management of two junior lawyers and three working students.

Patents registration before the European Patent Office; support to the drafting of legal opinions about patent infringement in Europe; researches of patent case law and practices worldwide.
