Dipl.-Ing. Vivian Storm

I am a senior researcher at the Institute for Systems Biology. I focus on improving the management and operation of the laboratory,using the latest gene editing technology and artificial intelligence algorithms to develop an accurate disease prediction system. My responsibilities include developing and optimizing genomic data analysis processes and working with interdisciplinary teams to promote the development of precision medicine.

I founded a company called Light of Hope, which aims to provide a remote diagnosis platform for small and medium-sized hospitals. During my time at Light of Hope, I served as CEO and led the team to develop a remote diagnosis platform, dedicated to improving the diagnostic efficiency and service quality of small and medium-sized hospitals.

During my tenure at CESTAS, my team worked with universities and health institutions in Africa, Latin America, Asia and internationally to implement projects in health system strengthening, disease prevention, community health promotion, and provided training to more than 8,000 doctors, nurses, and health managers around the world.

During this time, I participated in multiple interdisciplinary projects focusing on analyzing genomic data using bioinformatics methods. My work included developing data processing pipelines, analyzing gene expression data, and collaborating with experimental teams to validate research results. This experience not only improved my technical capabilities, but also cultivated my skills in collaboration and communication within a scientific research team.

The purpose of a women's student association is usually to provide a platform for support and communication for female students, to enhance the status and influence of female students on campus, and to advocate for equal rights and opportunities for female students. The association's work may include organizing social events, lectures and seminars, providing career development support, carrying out social service projects, and advocating for gender equality and anti-discrimination.

It usually represents students, promotes various activities inside and outside the school, cultivates friendship and solidarity among students, and promotes students' welfare and rights. The student union can also provide help and support for students' study, life and career, organize various social activities and volunteer services, and create a colorful campus life for students.
