CEO / MD of several Hoisting and Materials handling manufacturing and marketing companies. I followed a low cost, high vertical integration approach with stamping, forging, machining, plasma cutting, heat treatment, phosphating, powder coating, spray painting, MIG/MAG/TIC welding, tool making, design and engineering. We installed full SAP (SOX compliant) and CAD installations and achieved ISO 9001 certification.

Plastic injection, mainly car parts and accessories. Injection machines from 30t-380t, vacuum forming, spray painting, blister packing. Own mould maintenance department. Trading from Taiwan and China.

Led the sales team, provided sales and marketing training and set the market pricing strategy. Headed the technical department and the computer manufacturing / assembly / service / testing as well as the overseas purchases and the supply chain. After transfer to South Korea and later to Taiwan I arranged the OEM manufacturing of computers, monitors, mother boards, interface cards and peripherals with companies from Korea and later of a variety of parts fromTaiwan, China and Hong Kong.

Customer acquisition and sales of precision machined tools, molds and fixtures for the machining / manufacturing industry in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemburg.

After initial training in the German plastic injection molding, manufacturing and general trading company, I was transferred to Taiwan to purchase and inspect plastic injection molds, organize the production schedule, as well as the entire supply chain. I managed the technical implementation of quality control in the cutlery manufacturing joint venture in Taiwan. I also sourced a constant stream of machinery, cutlery, scissors, household items, and cooking pots from all over Taiwan, Hong Kong and Korea

Leadership and General Management of sub-contracted landscaping, including design, excavating of sites, creation of garden fountain arrangements, parking lots, planting of trees, flowers etc. I managed 11 employees.

I was engaged in the maintenance and service of pocket cameras, reflex cameras, Super 8 movie cameras, movie projectors, optical apperatures and power supplies.

From 1976 - 1977 I was based in the School for Integrated Personnel in Cologne, Germany. There I underwent intensive training for the maintenance and repair of microwave, VHF, UHF, and Shortwave transceiver equipment as well as the accompanying voice and data multiplex equipment (1 year). In addition I had three months of intensive full day English training, three months of training as a trainer and instructor, and an additional 3 months of sergeant school. Then I went to the Supreme NATO HQ for 25 months.

I made an apprenticeship at this company to become a Radio and Television Technician. During the last two years of working for the company I made independant repair / service calls to tens of customers every week to repair TVs, radios and home appliances, and to construct hundreds of terrestrial multi-band antenna systems on top of the roofs. The education included an accompanying vocational technical school twice a week for the entire duration.
