What payment methods are available?
You can pay by direct debit in the following countries: Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Spain. In all countries you can pay using one of the following credit card types: MasterCard, Visa, Visa Electron and American Express. Once payment for your ProJobs add-on has been completed, the invoice amount will be automatically debited from your account/your credit card.
What happens if I buy the ProJobs add-on as a Premium member?
Your existing Premium credit will be offset against your first Premium + ProJobs term, meaning that you pay less for the first term than is stated during the payment process. From then on you'll have two contract terms running in parallel: Premium and the ProJobs add-on.
Can I submit my ProJobs add-on fees with my tax return?
XING is a business platform and serves to set up, manage and maintain a network of business contacts. If the platform is used exclusively for professional purposes, the monthly fees paid for Premium membership can be calculated as a business-related expense or advertising expense for German tax purposes. For more information, please speak with your tax adviser. If the platform is used for private purposes as well, the monthly fees are not tax deductible.
What happens if I buy a Premium membership with the ProJobs add-on as a basic member?
You're then a Premium customer and can take advantage of the exclusive additional ProJobs features (e.g. add additional private details to your profile). From then on you'll have two contract terms running in parallel: Premium and the ProJobs add-on.
When will I receive my ProJobs add-on invoice?
Your invoice will be available online by going to "Settings/Invoices & Accounts" (the cogwheel on the top right) -> "Invoices & Accounts" within 24 hours of completing the ProJobs add-on transaction. The adjacent tab "Billing details" lets you add an e-mail address to which we can also send you your invoice.
What membership types are available?
Basic membership
You'll have access to the basic features of XING, including a profile page and options to send invitations to your contacts, manage your network and organise events.
Premium membership
Premium membership on XING gives you access to additional exclusive features for professional networking. This membership costs money.
ProJobs add-on
ProJobs is an optional add-on for your Premium membership.
What are the cancellation terms?
The ProJobs add-on is a subscription which is automatically renewed for the same term once the add-on term expires unless you cancel it. You can cancel your add-on at any time up to three (3) weeks before the end of the term via the contact form or by sending an e-mail to contact@xing.com.
A cancellation would become effective as of the end of your current ProJobs term, after which time you will be downgraded to Premium membership.
