I’ve finished my apprenticeship as Software Developer (German: Fachinformatiker Anwendungsentwicklung) 2019 at Siemens. Afterwards I started in the NAS storage department of the Siemens data center where I mainly worked on an automation to help and replace daily business tasks. Here, one of my main topics was, to document our storage automatically in the CMDB of our data center. 2021 I changed the department to our Cross Function department. In this department I am one of the two administrators of our CMDB which we keep running and also help and train colleagues to use it. Also I am responsible for our automatic data exchange with other departments. Working on improving, maintaining and in case of errors which are monitored also troubleshooting those processes because of the criticality of the data. A big project of mine is that I wrote a Python module which helps the colleagues to document their assets in our CMDB without the need of Know-How about the data structure of our DB.
