About me
Daron Vchulek is a highly sought after administrator with well known leadership skills, integrity, and speaking forte. Daron has consistently demonstrated an ability to use his knowledge, experiences and contact to nourish his professional vision and personal goals in life. Today, as the Director of Ancillary Services for the Seattle, Washington-based The Polyclinic, Daron Vchulek manages healthcare professionals operating in a variety of positions. Daron oversees medical professionals working Laboratory, Physical Therapy, Sleep Medicine, Pulmonary, and Diagnostic Imaging (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Digital Radiography, and Bone Density), to name a few. Daron Vchulek’s work with The Polyclinic has allowed him to leverage his considerable business management abilities, achieving $150 million in revenue while keeping expense below community standards by using Lean Management techniques. Daron Vchulek is tasked with finding new revenue streams for the clinic, something he accomplished by bringing new test, procedures, and departments on line. These efforts on Daron’s behalf netted The Polyclinic an increase in ancillary revenue by doubling of lab revenue, and increased patient volume in Diagnostic Imaging by 80% over the last 4 years. Additionally, Daron Vchulek developed The Polyclinic’s Sleep Center, Histology, and Physical Therapy departments, and he was instrumental in the establishment of a second imaging center. For all his hard work, The Polyclinic advanced Daron Vchulek to the position of Director of Ancillary Services in 2005, and 3 years later, he was designated to The Polyclinic Community Health Foundation’s Board of Directors. Daron Vchulek completed the MBA program at Madison University and possesses a degree with emphasis on Healthcare Administration. Daron Vchulek is well known in his community for his philanthropy and volunteering with the Ryther Child Center, Boyer Children’s Center, the Puget Sound Blood Center, and Habitat for Humanity. Daron Vchulek had developed from being a photography hobbyist into a recognized professional in the Seattle area. He purchased his first 35mm SLR when he was 13 years old; winning many amateur photography contests along the way and now 30 years later he is producing award winning imagery. Daron now travels around the States and abroad to capture breathtaking nature and wildlife photographs. Daron is breaking out of his comfort zone and is currently working on a photo documentary of the homeless people living in the Seattle area.
