David Zuckerman

David Zuckerman, founder and President of Durable Ventures, Inc., previously led two other businesses, and helped launch several others. Mr. Zuckerman launched his career as an Industrial Designer at Inspired Concepts, Inc., before joining the team at Raytech Corporation as a Design Director. Responsible for the growth and management of the company's design and engineering teams, he accrued skills that would later serve him at Durable Ventures. In 2002, he became President of Raytech Corporation, where he continued to serve until August 2010. David Zuckerman, a serial entrepreneur, also served as President at Express Marketing International, Inc., between 2003 and 2010.

Upon leaving these companies in August 2010, David Zuckerman established Durable Ventures, which helps structure and build new businesses. Concentrating on innovative start-up ventures that deal in long-lasting, manufactured goods, Durable Ventures employs solutions that help propel production projects forward. Avoiding risky technology concepts that have yet to be proven as viable, Durable Ventures focuses on innovative industrial and consumer goods such as house wares and ergonomic equipment, helping companies market products that have a low cost of entry. All of Durable Ventures' products can be manufactured using standard processes. As the leader of Durable Ventures, David Zuckerman employs seasoned management consultants to develop sustainable businesses.

David Zuckerman received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He also studied architecture at the New York Institute of Technology and Arizona State University. These experiences helped David Zuckerman build an educational foundation that would ultimately lead him to found Durable Ventures. Also a blogger, he recently created three new sites on the subjects of parenting, ethnographic observations, and the work of Durable Ventures.
