About me

Hi, I am the initiator of somehealth.ch which is the web presence of the annual conference Social Media in Healthcare. Although, it is mainly focussed on Switzerland it has no national limitations just like Social Media. I was trained as a medical psychologist at the University of Tübingen by Nils Birbaumer and worked as a researcher at UMASS Amherst with Seymour Epstein. Retrospectively, what I learned during those years at the Dept. of Social Psychology is a perfect foundation of understanding the effect and potential of social media related to patients.
