About me

Financial and technical translator, terminologist, language coordinator, member of the Austrian, American, German and Italian translators' associations Universitas Austria, ATA, BDÜ and AITI & of the Asociación Internacional de Profesionales de la Traducción y la Interpretación (AIPTI)

I have been in business for over 25 years and translate texts for large banks, financial management, advisory and insurance companies (and provide QA) over a few well-know agencies - only into Italian and Swiss Italian. I also provide translation services for a couple of demanding direct clients.

I coordinate projects in a few specialized technical areas such as CNC, metrology, manual and machine tools. I work daily with SDL Trados Suite 2007 (FL & Professional +CCM) & Transit NXT Freelance PRO, but also use memoQ and Tstream, SDL Trados 2009 Pro, Across & DVX, MultiTerm Extract & SLD PhraseFinder. I enjoy working in small "action" teams.
