About me
Gregorio Soloperto – alias ɯoop - is a motion designer, fully capable in conceptualize and develop design executions.
During his bachelor degree in industrial design (2001-2004), his passion for moving images becomes stronger. In the Computer Graphics boom era, his focus is on the finest digital artefact by means of Motion Design and Visual Effects, as he feels captivated by the fine art of layering and flawlessly merging reality and virtual elements.
When he was still studying for his master degree in communication design (2004-2006), the collaboration with the creative studio Abstract groove starts. Together they realise video artefacts and installations for clients such as diesel.
Aiming to perfecting his skills and techniques as well as characterising his style, he longs for new ideas and challenges. He starts now working for post production companies, mainly focused on short movies for commercials. Formerly at Movie&Arts in the 3D&Graphics department, he then joins Anteprima Video Group, where he operates as resident Digital compositor and online editor for mainstream commercials (Mc Donalds, Gazzetta dello Sport, Az, Rcs, Sony BMG, Clearblue, Cibavision…)
Moreover, his ability of managing contacts and coordinating projects allowed him to experience working freelance.
