About me

After finishing school I attended college at NHC in Hitchin and Stevenage UK where I developed a love for art and design. I completed a 3 month period of work experience as a photographers assistant for London national newspaper The Independent (repeated winner of photography of the year award) where I learned the skills and discipline behind professional photojournalism. I repeatedly had my own photographs published aged 17 yrs.

I then studied fine art at Cheltenham University, basing my learning on traditional drawing and painting, focusing on art history and theory as academic output.
I gained a 2.1 degree with honours and went to work for respected London fine art auctioneers Lots Road Galleries (Chelsea -

http://www.lotsroad.com) where I worked my way up from porter to valuer then to auctioneer. I specialised in valuing and cataloguing 18th Century English furniture, vernacular furniture, old pictures and oriental carpets.

Discovering an urge to find an outlet for my natural creativity, I was curious about the internet and the skills behind creating web pages, so I taught myself basic HTML and began creating web pages in my spare time. They were very successful and I began receiving commissions from bigger clients. I then turned my thoughts to SEO (search engine optimization) as I saw it as a challenge and developed a system which has proved extremely successful.
Since then I have specialized in XHTML, PHP & CSS driven web design at an advanced level.

After moving to Mallorca, Spain in 2004 I have enjoyed success as a designer for the Superyacht industry advertising and design agency Compass Design, where I create digital and traditional marketing campaigns for international clients.

I have a daughter (Zofia) aged four and I enjoy cycling, reading and socialising.
