About me
I am Founder and CEO of Berlin-based Mobile Economy GmbH which operates Ecosummit - the Smart Green Business Network and Conference for investors, startups, corporates and utilities fostering cleantech, renewable energy, emobility, smart green city and sustainability. Ecosummit 2012 takes place on 22-23 March 2012 in Berlin and expects 300 participants. The ECO12 Award brings fame and fortune to the best smart green startups.
Together with our business partners, Ecosummit provides consulting services to smart green clients with a focus on online marketing, strategy development, product management and business development.
In 2010, I went green to make the world a better place and contribute significantly to the fast transformation to the global Smart Green Economy. In 2010, I organised our first international conference, Green Venture Summit 2010, which attracted 250 participants, 17 sponsors, 45 speakers, 15 startups and 35 media partners. In 2011, I organised our second international conference, Ecosummit 2011, which attracted 300 participants, 20 sponsors, 86 speakers, 27 startups and 29 media partners.
From 1990-1996, I studied business administration with a focus on English and social sciences at University of Mannheim and Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. From 1997 to 2000, I worked for Pixelpark, Icon Medialab and ciao.com as Online Marketing Consultant, Project Manager and Head of Marketing and Sales.
In 2000, I founded Berlin-based Mobile Economy GmbH as a consultancy focused on Mobile Internet Innovation for mobile network operators (MNO) and mobile service providers. Being a fan of Japan, I organised 6 Mobile Executive Tours to Tokyo between 2004 and 2008.
