Transitioning from the start-up sector to working for established companies, Jerry Vogel subsequently accepted a position as a Regional Product Specialist with Medex, Inc. Selling neonatal and ICU pediatric surgical pumps to hospitals within the Washington, D.C., to Maine region, he delivered product presentations to physicians and nurses throughout the area. Demonstrating keen sales abilities, he secured the largest account in the history of the company with Children’s Hospital Boston.
Accepting a position with Pyxis Corporation three years later, Jerry Vogel assumed the role of Key Account Executive for its Northeast division, managing sales and implementation activities in the New York and New Jersey territory. Playing an instrumental part in developing the supply distribution product division and assisting senior management with strategizing design for talking points, he earned the St. Barnabas Distinguished Partner Award in recognition of his strong support of the St. Barnabas Health Care System.
Following four years with Pyxis Corporation, Jerry Vogel joined Masimo Corporation as a Sales Representative for the territory covering Washington, D.C., through Maine. He communicated with key hospital executives, managing important national accounts with General Electric Company, Datascope Corporation (now known as MAQUET), and other original equipment manufacturing partners within the medical industry. Personally achieving $3 million in sales within his second year with the company, which accounted for more than 50% of total company revenue, Jerry Vogel earned an appointment to Vice President of Sales for the corporation.
Today, Jerry Vogel presides as Director of the Nobel Biocare NobelProcera product line. Directly responsible for a team of 40 sales professionals, he indirectly manages more than 250 staff members as well as $40 million in profit and loss. He also participates in new product releases, educating the sales team on the devices and supporting the marketing division’s efforts to design road shows and position products in the marketplace.
