Mr. Bryan is a Senior Consultant with over twenty-five years of broad-based experience in business consulting to a broad range of clients. His extensive experience includes multi-project management and management of projects at multiple simultaneous locations; performance assessments for several large healthcare organizations, government agencies, insurance and financial institutions, and manufacturing, telecommunications, and service organizations; management training development and delivery, and account development for three international consulting firms. BNSF (Burlington Northern Santa Fe) Railroad, Fort Worth, TX. Project Director
Managed productivity and performance improvement project for BNSF's Field Transportation group but subsequently included Crew Management and the Network Operations Center including over 44,000 people, operating 5,000 locomotives and 90,000 freight cars over 34,000 route miles. The network serves 28 states and 2 Canadian provinces on a 24 hour, 7 day a week basis - resulted in improved productivity valued at in excess of $50 million annually as measured by BNSF's Chief Financial Officer.

Managed project to improve field sales performance across 54 locations within the United States involving 2,000 sales people and support staff focusing on expanding sales coming from new customers by 20% and streamlining operations and costs. Initial appointments with prospective new accounts increased 36% during the pilot; total sales meetings held increased 45% during the pilot; proposals presented to new clients increased 30+%; annualized improvements for the pilot alone were $2.1 million in labor productivity gains; activity gains averaged 45%; nationwide, productivity gains were 45% resulting in sales increases of 32% per sales representative. These increases were valued at $1,500,000 in added sales per month.

Managed productivity and performance improvement project for Marriott's Worldwide Reservations Operations including involved the organization's four major units employing 1600 associates, handling 25 million calls annually - on a 24 hour, 7 day a week basis to significantly improve sales effectiveness as measured by the conversion of inbound calls into room reservations, reduce performance variability among associates, thereby increasing productivity, and to redesign key support processes for resource planning and associate productivity measurement. Our challenge was to transform the culture of the organization from compliance and order taking, to one of revenue generation - resulted in increase of front line "managing" capacity by 45% through job redesign; resource planning variability reduced 20%; unit cost reductions resulting from associate productivity improvements valued at $1.2 million annually; improvements in call conversion performance worth $1.6 million in cost per reservation savings and $16 million in incremental annual revenue; and a return on the project investment of 300%, which exceeded targets by 70%.

County of Maricopa, Phoenix, AZ. Performance Improvement Project. Project Manager
Managed productivity and performance improvement project for the county's Department of Health Services including Accounts Payable, Data Processing, Claims Processing, Income Recovery, Long-Term Care, and Utilization Review functions of the Department - resulted in $1.5 million cost savings to county.
Managed productivity and performance improvement project for the county's Department of Correctional Health Services of the Justice and Law Enforcement Agency including medical, dental, pharmacy and psychiatric services provided within five outpatient medical clinics serving the adult population, two outpatient medical clinics serving the juvenile population, a twenty-three bed infirmary for intermediate care, two sixty-bed inpatient psychiatric units, and an intake area to assess arrestees' medical condition before they are accepted into the jail system - resulted in $735,000 cost savings to county.
Managed productivity and performance improvement project for the county's Department of Environmental Services including the Divisions of Environmental Health, Air Pollution Control, and Water and Waste Management - resulted in $1.2 million cost savings to county.

Managed productivity and performance improvement assessment project for the State Fund in which all processes and activities associated with the processing of the Fund's receipts and disbursements were documented and improvement opportunities identified and prioritized - resulted in a comprehensive flow chart of cash flow activities; identify and documentation of all related activities, including time requirements and annual frequency; evaluation of all pending improvement efforts, and identification of new performance improvement initiatives valued at $4.7 million cost savings to the State Fund.
Managed performance improvement project for the State Fund's Office Legal Operations including all legal personnel in the State Fund's twenty-one District Offices and Legal Offices and two State Agency Claims Offices with the specific objective of determining the "best way" for claims information necessary for legal defense of policyholders to be communicated between claims and legal, including whether files should be created.
Managed project for the State Fund's Office Fiscal and Banking Services Operations to improve productivity and fiscal integrity for the Department resulting in the development of the process flow chart(s) and the desk level procedures. Automation and streamlining efforts were directed at minimizing redundant data entry, eliminating keying errors, automating report creation, and enabling reconciliation of banking documents with general ledger documents - resulted in $2 million cost savings to the State Fund, primarily through identification of checks that should have been cancelled, but hadn't been.

Managed productivity and performance improvement assessment for the Clorox's Household Products Division to provide an overview and prioritization of current work simplification and cost reduction opportunities within the General Office functions - resulted in $18.1 million in potential cost savings to Clorox, $3.9 million recurring.
