About me

Following more than 10 years in the finance industry, Jonathan Hollander founded Chesapeake Advisory Group, LLC in New York City. Since February 2009, Jonathan Hollander has focused his company’s investments and consulting operations in rapidly growing industries and dynamic geographies, including natural resources, online media, and clean technology in Brazil, Israel, and the United States. Chesapeake provides valuable assistance in the areas of capital structure, financial analysis, and operational improvements for its consulting clients and portfolio companies.

Prior to the formation of Chesapeake, Jonathan Hollander spent almost four years as a Senior Research Analyst for New York-based CR Intrinsic Investors, LLC in its AEQ Group. In this position, Jonathan Hollander focused on the generation and analysis of long and short equity ideas, commodity investments, and private equity analysis.

Jonathan Hollander relocated to New York in 2005 after spending two years as Vice President of Real Estate Acquisitions and Development with King Properties, Ltd in Annapolis, MD. At King Properties, Jonathan Hollander evaluated potential investments, led a corporate restructuring, the integration of the company’s largest asset purchase, and worked on various strategies for business development.

Jonathanllande Hor came to King Properties, Ltd. following graduation from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where he earned his M.B.A. and participated in a number of student-led professional organizations, including the Finance & Investment Club, the Real Estate Club, and the Private Equity Club. Jonathan Hollander laid the foundations for his career through associate, analyst, and intern positions at Goldman Sachs, Citicorp Venture Capital, Credit Suisse First Boston, and JP Morgan. Jonathan Hollander is also a magna cum laude graduate of Tufts University, where he earned a B.S. in Engineering, a B.S. in Environmental Technology, and a minor in Engineering Management.
