● Managed and administrated 150 Oracle and Microsoft SQL database clustered servers, IIS 6.0 and application servers, and 5 SANS with over 50 Terabytes of storage for the Intel Mask Operations ( IMO ) group and Development group in buildings SC2 & SC8. Administrated HP EVA, EMA 12000 and RA 8000 SAN’s and troubleshot connectivity and I/O performance issue’s. Implemented new HP Proliant servers and SQL 2000 & 2005 database servers using HP Secure Path and MPIO.
● Upgraded EVA 5000 SAN controller Firmware from VCS 3014 to 3028. Upgraded Brocade 2800, 3900 and 4100 Silkworm series Fiber Channel SAN switch’s IOS / Firmware. Upgraded HP SAN Management appliances to HP Command View 5. Extended the SAN fabric ISL, with out any server down time.
● Implemented a new HP EVA 8000 SAN with XCS V 5 controller firmware using HP MPIO for server clusters and migrated DAS array’s to the consolidated SAN Infrastructure. Decommissioned a Compaq RA 8000 and assisted with an Oracle 8 database migration to an HP EVA 5000.
● Assisted Network group with troubleshooting .Net applications time out issue’s which resulted in adding additional IP subnets to Intel’s Active Directory Forrest, DNS BIND patching, and DFS lookup isolation.
● Received 5 awards from high level managers for fast service and for my efforts in helping to resolve network and application time out issues, and SAN implementation.
