About me

I have over 5 years working experience in different areas in relation to IT/internet. I started as the online marketing manager of a construction company that was beginning to pave its online presence. I undertook the SEO / SEM tasks and the early social media channels of the company (blog, fori, presence in external communities).
Afterwards I worked as a product and marketing manager in a start-up conducting the marketing strategy of the company. The project was a service of apartments, yachts, and rental properties for short stays basically aimed at European audiences. I was responsible for the internet campaigns, the SEO, and optimizing the product according to the customer's feedback.
I write regularly on several blogs: on infographics and social media and Internet law. I do manage several Twitter accounts plus plenty of other accounts in other social media channels. I have placed several websites at the top of Google SERPs after analyzing the keywords that carried most traffic.
In this sense, I have developed an expertise in carrying out monitoring statistics (Analytics) and working with reports, being able to show trends and drawing lessons from the patterns observed in data.
I did also work at the system administration department of Electronic Group managing the user community of four companies with a heavy technological/IT component (companies are involved in streaming, open-source plugin development, and online marketing). I had to solve the problems faced by the users of our community. My role involved encouraging users in the use of our resources.
Previously I held a doctorate in philosophy of science that has made me familiar with the treatment, selection, and processing of information, being able to trace patterns and trends, as well as putting forward coherent and innovative proposals.
During almost two years I worked as the lawyer of an online marketing company. I was involved in monitoring the channels used by the company to promote their online products and services and to manage their traffic. I prepared all the legal material, monitored the company's reputation, designed the social media policy of the company, and built on the existing relationships with affiliates and advertisers.
Right now I started a postgraduate in community management.
I have web programming skills (php, ruby on rails, javascript, html) so that I understand all matters and technologies concerning the operation of a web-based service.
Regarding languages, in addition to Spanish, I speak fluently English, German, and French. I also have basic knowledge of Italian and Dutch.
I am an easygoing person who likes the contact with people and being able to relate to the users of the services in which I work. I am pro-active, always open for new challenges, and willing to learn and develop myself in fields related to internet marketing and social media where I can show my competence in new technologies, as well as my passion and care in relation to clients and customers.
