Recent project include: (1) Lagos Metropolitan Development and Governance (Nigeria, World Bank), (2) Privatization of the Solid Waste Municipal Company in Belgrade (Serbia, IFC), (3) Raima Area Development (Yemen, UNOPS/IFAD), (4) Rainfed Agriculture and Livestock (Yemen, World Bank), (4) Reversal of Land and Water Degradation Trends (Lake Chad Basin, with the riparian countries Cameroon, CAR, Chad, Niger and Nigeria, UNDP-GEF/UNOPS), and (5) Technology Fosters Tradition (Mauritania, GTZ and World Bank).

We have recently registered a firm in Bulgaria, Supras Limited (www.supras.bg), which covers Eastern and Southeastern Europe, together with transition countries more generally.

I am the founder and current Coordinator for Community-Based Natural Resource Management Network (CBNRM Net,

http://www.cbnrm.net), a global community of practice for several hundred persons, NGOs, organizations and institutions working on CBNRM in various capacities. Originally set up as a World Bank activity, it later transferred to civil society, and is now managed my the Norwegian non-profit CBNRM Networking (

I am a founder-member of "Forum Sør" (Forum South), a resource network for individuals, institutions and organizations in the Agder Region in southern Norway that are concerned with North-South issues and development cooperation.
