About me
1. CANCUN (1-2 tank diving). At The National park of Punta Cancun we can find several spots with shallow reef where we can dive at depths up to 45ft (15 mts) and find many kind of fishes and spectacular coral formations. For advanced divers it’s possible to dive (depending on weather conditions) two sunken boats which are at 90ft aprox.(27 mts) In spite of the strong current this is a must diving and the spectacular views are worth it. From 9:00 am to 13:00 pm and includes non alcoholic beverages.
2. CENOTES DIVING: Next to Puerto Morelos, a little fisherman’s town, is located the “cenotes route”. All along the road we can find several “dzonot” as we know them in Mayan language, where we can dive safely. Light filtering between the rocky roof, stalactites and stalagmites building all kinds of figures and whimsical rock formations are some of the attractives for this diving. Kin Ha, Siete Bocas, La Boca del Puma among others, are some of the most beautiful. It depends on the diver skills which one we will dive in. We can dive from 9 to 110 ft. (3 to 40 mts) Diving trips to cenotes in Riviera y Costa maya are also available. From 9.00am to 15.00pm , includes lunch and non alcoholic drinks. Advanced diver certification is required.
3. CENOTE SNORKELING: while divers go deep, non divers may snorkel the place and refresh themselves watching the cenote’s vault, enjoying the amazing crystal water. We recommend you to bring along a wet suit as water temp is fresh. From 9.00am to 15.00pm includes lunch and non alcoholic drinks
4. DIVING IN PUERTO MORELOS: Here in this National underwater park, we will find a very well structured coral reef with typical formations and all kinds of fishes, sea sponges, anemones, soft and hard coral species and also we have the chance to go deeper to a sunked boat (wreck) already covered with living organisms. Sea rays eagle type encounters are almost ensured in this diving we will dive up to 100ft (30mts) important for you to be well trained for strong currents. Snorkeling here is also available. From 9.00am to 13.00pm includes fruit and non alcoholic drinks
5. SNORKELING IN PUERTO MORELOS: we depart swimming from the beach with snorkel gear, and will keep swimming for 400mts aprox through the arrecifal lagoon until we reach the protected zone, where we will be able to see almost all the typical coral reef life as we were in a big aquarium. from 10.00am to 13.00pm. Includes lunch and non alcoholic drinks
6. DIVING IN PUERTO MORELOS AND A CENOTE: this is a three tank dive, Two in Puerto Morelos coral reef and a third one in a previously agreed cenote. From 9.00am to 15.00pm Lunch and non alcoholic drinks included.
7. CENOTE DIVING OR SNORKELING WITH ATV RENTAL : prior to your diving or snorkel quest , while in your way to cenote Kin Ha you will experience a 15 km atv trip driving through a real jungle path while you enjoy bird’s singing, different kinds of plants and trees and the chance to get farther than other vehicles and explore an almost virgin cenote. From 8.00am to 16.00pm Includes lunch and non alcoholic drinks
8. WHALESHARK SNORKELING: whalesharks arrive to the Yucatán Peninsula north, at Isla Contoy, by the months of July and August. Our tour departs from Chacmukchul lagoon which allows an easy navigation and spectacular mangrove views , after one hour we arrive to the whaleshark sanctuary and as soon as we track them snorkeling begins until cold takes us out from water. You will watch them feed and we will talk you about this incredible and biggest fish in the world. Tour ends arriving through the coastal lagoon, with bird watching and looking for some crocodiles. From 7.00am to 13.00pm Includes lunch and non alcoholic drinks.
9. DIVING IN COZUMEL: Departures to Cozumel Island are from Playa del Carmen, we are able to carry out your transfer on our van (up to 13 pax) once there we catch the ferry to the island. and take a taxi to our boat. Cozumel is a two tank diving and we will be able to choose, according to your diving level, from a large number of well known beautiful places with spectacular contrasts and all kinds of life. Cozumel is a unique diving experience from 8.00am to 17.00pm
10. COBA ARQUEOLOGICAL SITE, SPIDERMONKEY SANCTUARY AND RIVIERA MAYA CENOTE SNORKELING: we pick up you at your hotel and hit the road early in the morning heading to Coba. Once there we stay at the arqueological site for two and a half hours. After a guided visit to this site’s main vestiges, we move to our next destination, the spider monkey sanctuary, where we will take a hike across the jungle to meet the howling and spider monkeys species and take a visit to the enchanted lagoon. This will take us about an hour and a half, after which we will grab our way to a cenote to refresh ourselves and make some snorkeling. From 8.00am to 17.00pm Includes lunch and non alcoholic drinks.
11. EK BALAM ARQUEOLOGICAL SITE AND DIVING IN CENOTE XCANCHE: we pick up you at your hotel and hit the road early in the morning heading to Ek Balam. After a 2 hour visit to the site, we walk to the cenote next to Ek Balam to have our snorkeling or diving. We will reach a max depth of 60ft. from 8.00am to 17pm includes lunch and non alcoholic drinks.
12. RÍO SECRETO. This is an underground tour to a dry cave formed within millions of years ago, with beautiful figures made of stalactites and stalagmites, great rock curtains and spectacular flooded vaults. From 8.00am to 13.00pm fresh fruit and non alcoholic drinks included.
13. CHACMUKCHUL MANGROVES: we hit the road early in the morning so we can watch birds in their first morning activities. Take our boat at the lagoon and sail very slowly among the mangrove’s channels trying to identify each one of the observed birds. from 7.00am to 12.00pm Includes lunch and non alcoholic drinks.
14. LIVE ABOARD. As a business strategy with MARENOSTRUM we have the chance to offer live aboard diving trips to magnificent and exotic destinations. You can sign in as single divers or as an entire group to experience a one kind adventure.
