About me
Mohamed is an Associate Attorney at Al Kamel Law, one of leading law firms in Egypt.
At
Al Kamel Law, Mohamed assists both international and domestic clients
and advises on many of the major transactions in Egypt with respect to
his areas of practices below.
Mohamed assisted, on a pro bono
basis, the Programme on Governance in the Arab Region which is
affiliated to the United Nations Development Programme, in creating free
online legislative databases of the Egyptian laws of investment,
banking, capital market, financial oversight and anti-corruption. These

Mohamed contributes individually to the following projects of the World Bank and IFC:
Doing Business Project:
Contributed
to the 2012 Doing Business Report of the World Bank and IFC (the “Doing
Business Report”), which was published in October 2012. The Doing
Business Report aims at investigating the regulations that enhance
business activity and those that constrain it.
Women, Business and the Law:
Contributed
to the Women, Business and the Law Report 2012 of the World Bank and
IFC (the “Women, Business and the Law Report”), which was published in
September 2012. The Women, Business and the Law Report was focusing on
benchmarks the Egyptian laws and regulations influencing women’s
capacities and decisions to participate in the workforce and start
businesses.
