About me
I have been the founder of the website of "Financial Times Deutschland" (FTD) and work now as a trainer and consultant for international NGO's, for nationwide publishing houses like Gruner + Jahr and Bauer Media or for regional publishers .
Before I gained more than 30 years of experience in journalism I was writing for well known papers like "Welt am Sonntag", the leading sunday paper and for "Bild", a tabloid with the highest circulation in Europe.
After my years as a reporter I moved into executive functions and was made responsible for managing the newsrooms of "Welt am Sonntag" and "Financial Times Deutschland" before being appointed as editor-in-chief of the online edition and the radio service.
I wrote four books about local journalism, perfect writing and internet security.
