Hakkımda

At the moment I am coordinating projects within the field of renewable energy specially wind and earth energy. Before that I was managing projects concerning energy consultancy for real estates and small companies. My last study MSc Energy- and Environmental Management focused on renewable energies. I was writing my Masterthesis at juwi Holding AG concerning a 100 percent renewable energy concept for a local community.

Before this study I was a graduated environmental engineer and gained comprehensive knowledge in the fields of ecology, environmental engineering, environmental economy and law. My thesis dealt with the preparation of legal tools for the “Regional Solid Waste Management Project” (RSWMP).

My occupational experience began at Ninham Shand, an environmental consulting engineering company in Cape Town, where I was responsible for several projects concerning water augmentation, groundwater studies and integrated water management, inter alia. After my studies I supported my Professor in preparing “Environmental Legal Draft Reports” within the “RSWMP”. I continued this work during the “First Regional Forum for the RSWMP” in Algir, Algeria, or during the „NGO-Workshop“ in Amman, Jordan, where I both contributed to the organization of the Forum as the Team Leader’s Assistant. While working for GTZ International Services (IS) in the Environmental Sector, I was competent in canvassing new projects, administrating all contract issues and managing ongoing projects. During this work I could proof my high communication capability with international clients.

Until the end of 2007 I was working for the “Institute for Environmental Studies and Applied Research” (IESAR). There I was managing projects in the fields of environmental law consultancy and waste management highlighting the research project “Efficient logistic and treatment through integrated use of smartlabels in the field of electronic and electronical waste” in cooperation with other scientific institutions and industrial partners.

Besides my good knowledge in environmental engineering I also achieved good business knowledge during my apprenticeship as an industrial clerk and I am familiar with office work of any kind. I further know how to communicate with relevant authorities as I attended several Governmental Organisations during internships.
